I have over five years of experience working as a senior electronics engineer/project leader for Vari-Lite, Inc.

Control Interfaces and Networks
I was the lead electronics engineer for the development of the Virtuoso Console and associated equipment.  I designed the overall hardware architecture of the Virtuoso system and of the Console itself.  Additionally, I designed several key control boards including the Main Console CPU and the Network Interface (NIF).  Please see my Examples page for more information.

I was a member of the ESTA Control Protocols Working Group (CPWG).  This is the group that generates and maintains the DMX & RDM standards along with developing Advanced Control Network (ACN). I participated in the development of the RDM extensions to DMX protocol.
